The company behind the bags is hitschler International GmbH & Co. KG. The family business was founded in Cologne in 1929 and is now based in Hürth, just outside the city. Since 2021 the packs have carried the name hitschies instead of Hitschler. The range centres on chewy sweets, fruit gums and sour confectionery.

Saure Drachenzungen

The Saure Drachenzungen Blau (sour dragon tongues) are flat fruit gum strips with raspberry flavour, coated on the outside with sour sugar. The 125 g bag carries the vegan label. You can eat the strips whole, roll them up or tear them into pieces.
