The Boobie Brush by AO is a flexible vase brush with a soft foam head. It bends into the curve of the glass vase and cleans it from the inside without scratching the glass.
Soft foam for the glass vase
Instead of hard bristles, a dense foam covering sits on the shaft, and the end is bent into a round head. This way you also reach the bottom and shoulder of the vase without metal or hard bristles scraping the glass. Deposits of molasses and limescale can be wiped off with it as long as they are not yet baked on.
Flexible, with a handle for hanging
The shaft can be bent in all directions so you can adapt the brush to the shape of your vase. On the plastic handle sits an eyelet on which you hang the brush to dry after rinsing. The brush is about 40 cm long, and the head is about 5 cm wide.
How to clean the vase
- Let the vase cool down, pour out the water and pre-rinse with lukewarm water.
- Fill in a little fresh water, with a hookah cleaner for stubborn deposits.
- Wipe the inner wall with the brush in circular movements, also at the bottom and under the neck.
- Rinse the vase thoroughly with clear water and rinse the brush as well.

Is the brush suitable for the stem?
It is too thick for that. For the stem and downstem you use a long, narrow stem brush.
How do I get rid of baked-on rings?
Soak them beforehand with a hookah cleaner or cleaning powder. The foam wipes off loosened deposits, but it is too soft for hard crusts.
