The ShishaX VOLTA DUO Pack contains two ShishaX VOLTA Black electric hookah heads. It's made for situations where two hookahs run at the same time: two flavours side by side at the same table, two hookahs in a larger group, or two tables in a lounge.
What's in the set?
- 2 × ShishaX VOLTA Black, each device with swappable battery, 2 ceramic chambers, 10 metal screens, USB-C cable, silicone grommets 16/18 mm, cleaning and tool set, 4 hygiene mouthpieces, velvet pouch and a user manual in German (as stated by the manufacturer)
Together: 2 devices, 2 swappable batteries and 4 ceramic chambers.
Chargers are not included. To charge both devices at the same time, you need two USB-C chargers with 5 V/5 A, 9 V/3 A or 12 V/3 A.
Who is the DUO Pack for?
Every hookah needs its own head. With two devices you set each one independently – for instance dark leaf on one hookah with a bit more heat, blonde on the other with less. For dark leaf the manufacturer suggests about 200–240°C, for blonde about 180–220°C. Both devices are identical, and batteries, chambers and screens fit either one.
Two hookahs, two sets of grommets
Each device comes with its own silicone grommets in 18 mm and 16 mm. That lets you fit the two onto two different hookahs as well: 18 mm usually fits, and if it sits loosely, use 16 mm.
Runtime with two devices
Each device has its own battery lasting around 1 to 1.5 hours per charge. If you want to go longer, plug one device into the cable via USB-C pass-through, or go straight for the ShishaX VOLTA DUO Extended Pack with two spare batteries.
Cheaper as a pack, registered separately
Two devices in the DUO Pack cost less than two bought separately. For the manufacturer's warranty – 1 year on the device, 6 months on the battery – you register each device with its own serial number at portal.shishax.eu. Your statutory warranty with us is unaffected.

The DUO Extended Pack also includes two extra batteries and two packs of ceramic chambers, so two batteries and six chambers per device.
Will the two devices fit different hookahs?
Usually, yes. Each device has its own silicone grommets in 18 mm and 16 mm for the head adapter.
ShishaX

ShishaX VOLTA: a bowl without coals
The ShishaX VOLTA is an electric bowl (e-head): it replaces the clay bowl and the coals in a single device. Your filling sits in a ceramic insert, a removable chamber that you pack like a bowl. You set two heating zones separately: top heat via the lid and side heat via the chamber wall. Everything can be operated with the buttons on the device; the app via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) is optional.

Fitting the bowl to your shisha
Insert one of the supplied silicone gaskets into the base cap: 18 mm fits most shishas; if the device sits loosely, use the 16 mm gasket. Then place the ShishaX VOLTA on the bowl adapter of your stem just like a normal bowl. To pack it, put a screen in the bottom of the ceramic insert, spread around 10 g loosely without pressing down, lay the upper screen on top and wipe the rim clean. Insert the ceramic insert, screw on the top cap and start preheating. A double tap extends the session in 10-minute steps up to a maximum of 150 minutes.
Charging and spare battery
The battery sits at the bottom of the device and charges via USB-C: at up to 24 W when fitted and up to 36 W when removed. With a fast charger it is full in about an hour; basic chargers take longer. One charge lasts for about 1 to 1.5 hours. When plugged in, the device keeps running thanks to pass-through.

Does the ShishaX VOLTA fit my shisha?
It sits on the bowl adapter like a bowl. With the 16 and 18 mm gaskets it fits most stems.
How long does one battery charge last?
About 1 to 1.5 hours. With a second battery or on the USB-C cable, the session continues without a charging break.
Do I need the app?
No. All settings can be made with the buttons; the app is an extra.
