The AEON x Hookain Lounge Mini Neo Phantom is a compact stainless steel shisha that AEON launched together with Hookain. It is 42 cm tall, weighs around 2.8 kg and has one hose connection. The bowl is matt black, the smoke column is silver, and it is made in Germany from V2A stainless steel.
Design and smoke column
The Lounge Mini Neo is a threaded shisha. Bowl and base are screwed together, and the base has a closed chamber and an M14x1 thread. The bowl is 18 cm tall, the downstem measures 19 cm and the smoke tube 20.5 cm. At the top of the smoke column sits an 18/8 ground joint for the head adapter.
Blow-off valve and draw
The blow-off is what makes this small shisha special. With one puff of air into the hose, you blow the stale smoke out of the bowl upwards. The downstem has an integrated diffuser. The draw is balanced and strong for a size of 42 cm.
Charcoal plate and head
The charcoal plate made of brushed V2A stainless steel has a diameter of 17 cm. A head adapter and an 18/8 to M16x1 adapter are included. You choose a head separately.
How to set up the Lounge Mini Neo
- Attach the downstem with diffuser and the smoke column to the base.
- Fill the bowl with water until the downstem is about 2 cm under water.
- Screw the bowl onto the thread of the base until it sits firmly.
- Attach the hose to the hose end piece of the base.
- Place a head on the head adapter, add the charcoal and take your time getting it going.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the bowl with warm, not hot, water after the session. Flush the smoke column and downstem with warm water, using a brush if needed. The smooth stainless steel parts are easy to wipe clean. For looking after the Lounge Mini Neo you will find brushes for the bowl and smoke column in the cleaning accessories.
