The Aladin Epox 460 is a hookah from the brand Aladin made of stainless steel with an epoxy resin sleeve and solid glass. It is 46 cm tall (without bowl), is screwed together and comes as a complete set. It is available as Blue Gold with clear glass and as Candy Frozen with frosted glass. The sleeve of the Candy Frozen version combines lilac and pink.
Closed Chamber system and 9 blow-off variants
The Closed Chamber system in the base lets you simply blow out stale smoke. Three stainless steel rings and the epoxy resin sleeve give 9 blow-off variants. This way you direct the smoke discreetly or conspicuously upwards, to the side or downwards.
Draw and diffuser
The downstem has an adjustable diffuser that you can also remove. It dampens the bubbling noise. The draw is light; you need little effort.
Ports
The Epox 460 has a hose port with an 18/8 ground joint. Accessories with this joint, such as a molasses catcher or adapter, can be plugged in directly.
Material and finish
The column is made of stainless steel, the sleeve of epoxy resin, the base of glass. The closure is a thread, so the set-up is quick and sits firmly.
How to set up the Epox 460
- Fill the glass with water until the downstem is about 2 cm under water.
- Insert the downstem with the diffuser and screw the base onto the glass.
- Set the sleeve and stainless steel rings as desired and place the plate.
- Attach the hose to the hose port.
- Pack the bowl, place the chimney top and put on the charcoal.
- Let it start calmly.
Care and cleaning
After the session, unscrew the parts and rinse them with warm water. Check the gaskets and the valve balls as you do so. For the base and smoke column of the Epox 460 you can add suitable hookah brushes.
