The alite Swiss Mini Squad is a complete shisha from the brand alite made of stainless steel and glass. It is about 38 cm tall, has four hose connections and a glass bowl with a 16.5 cm outer diameter. Black/Gold and Silver are available. On the Black/Gold version the stem is finished in black and gold. You can find the other models of the series at alite Swiss Mini.
Design and stem
The Swiss Mini Squad has four hose connections and is therefore built for groups: several smokers pull at the same time. You attach the hoses with a plug-in system. The stem has an inner diameter of 13 mm, the downstem of 11 mm. A molasses catcher is integrated. Head, molasses catcher and charcoal plate sit on a ground joint and can be removed together.
Draw, diffuser and blow-off
The downstem is fitted with a diffuser that dampens the bubbling. With the blow-off system in the base you blow the smoke out of the bowl before you change the head or end the session.
Bowl and closure
The glass bowl has a 16.5 cm outer diameter. It is connected to the stem via a screw thread. Small air bubbles can occur in handmade glass; this is due to production.
Material and workmanship
The stem of the Swiss Mini Squad is made of V2A stainless steel, the bowl of glass with a stainless steel screw thread. Parts of the alite series can be swapped between each other; stem, base and bowl are also available individually as replacements.
Head and HMD
The shisha takes HMDs in the standard size. A stoneware clay head and a silver HMD are included in the set.
How to set up the Swiss Mini Squad
- Fill the glass bowl with water until the downstem sits about 2 cm in the water.
- Screw the stem onto the bowl until it sits firm and tight.
- Attach the hoses to the connections.
- Build the head, place it on the stem, put the HMD on and place the charcoal.
- Start smoking calmly.
Care and cleaning
Rinse stem and downstem through with warm water after the session and brush them out if needed. You remove head, molasses catcher and charcoal plate together from the ground joint. Rinse the glass bowl with warm, not hot, water.
