Der AO Carbon Molassefänger besteht aus hochwertigem V2A Edelstahl und einem Carbon-Mantel, der ihm ein stylishes und modernes Aussehen verleiht. Im Inneren ist er mit zwei Gewinden und zwei Dichtungsringen ausgestattet, sodass die Molasse in der Rauchsäule aufgefangen wird und nicht ins Wasser oder in die Bowl gelangt. Außerdem ist der Molassefänger mit einem 18/8 Kopfschliff ausgestattet, sodass er auf jede Rauchsäule passt, ohne dass eine weitere Dichtung erforderlich ist.
So funktioniert der AO Carbon Molassefänger
Der Molassefänger hat 16 Rundfräsungen, damit die Luft wie üblich in die Rauchsäule gelangen kann. Die Molasse läuft den Tonkopf hinab und in den Molassefänger hinein, wo sie im Molassepool aufgefangen wird. Dadurch wird verhindert, dass die klebrige, dickflüssige Konsistenz der Molasse langsam die Rauchsäule hinabläuft.
Die Reinigung des Molassefängers ist im Gegensatz zu der Funktion sehr simple: den Molassefänger auseinanderschrauben, die Teile mit Wasser ausspülen und eventuell etwas Shisha-Reiniger bzw. Spülmittel verwenden.
