What can I expect from Cocobration charcoal?
Thanks to its low moisture content of 0.6% (for grilling) and 6% (for shisha use), as well as a low level of volatile substances (12–15%), this natural charcoal provides consistent heat output for an intense and long-lasting smoking experience. The Cocobration natural charcoal burns more slowly than conventional charcoal and allows the original flavor of your tobacco to fully develop. For safe and efficient ignition, the use of a gas burner is recommended. The Cocobration natural coal consists of pressed coconut shells and comes as cubes. Coconut coal glows long and evenly and produces little ash. It is heated through before it goes onto the bowl or HMD.

Getting it glowing
Ideally in an electric coal heater or a coal basket on a gas hob. The coal is ready when it glows grey-orange all round.
How long does the coal take to heat through?
In an electric heater about 8 to 10 minutes; turn the cubes in between.
What do 26 and 27 mm mean?
That is the edge length of the cubes. Larger cubes last a little longer.
Can I ignite the coal with firelighter tablets?
Natural coal such as Cocobration is ignited with heat from outside, meaning in an electric heater or over a gas flame.
