AO Hookah · AO - Smoke Tube Adapter - 18/8 to 29/2 - Clear
€6.90*
The AO stem adapter Clear connects an 18/8 joint on the hookah with a stem tube that has a 29/2 joint. This lets you use a stem tube with a larger joint on a matching 18/8 port.
From 18/8 to 29/2
The lower joint of the adapter is size 18/8, the upper one 29/2. Insert the adapter into the matching joint on the stem adapter or the body and push the stem tube into the upper connection. What matters are the joint sizes of your parts: the adapter is meant for this combination and does not fit every hookah across the board. You can find more glass connectors and adapters under other accessories.
Protect the joints
We recommend matching joint protectors for both connections. They help the parts come apart again after the session. If stem tube and adapter are stuck, loosen them carefully with a slight twist. Do not lever at the connection and avoid sideways pressure.
- Stem adapter for connecting 18/8 to 29/2.
- Lower joint: 18/8; upper joint: 29/2.
- Only usable with matching joint connections.
- Joint protectors recommended for both connections.
Frequently asked questions
Which joints does the adapter connect?
18/8 and 29/2 – the two common joint sizes on glass hookahs. With the adapter you combine parts that would otherwise not fit into each other.
Do I need joint protectors?
Yes, we recommend them for both joints. They prevent the joints from getting stuck or jammed.
What do I do if the adapter is stuck?
Loosen it with a slight twist, without force. Do not lever and do not tilt it.
Does the adapter fit every hookah?
Only if your stem tube has a joint. Without a joint, the adapter has nothing to hold on to.

Einsatzbereit

All good
Wanted to kit out my shisha corner in the garden a bit more. It now has a fixed spot next to the shisha and everything looks tidier. Clean edges and no manufacturing leftovers, all tidy.

Fiddly at first
Middling for me. Since I got it, evenings with friends just run more smoothly. A short note on how to use it would help beginners.
