A large Epox with a push-fit stem
On the Epox 580, the body is pushed onto the base rather than screwed on. A seal between the two parts keeps the stem firmly in place. The polished stainless steel stem carries an epoxy resin sleeve; measured without the Badcha attachment, the hookah is about 58 cm tall.

Cut port right at the collar
The silicone hose attaches to the Cut port, so no extra silicone seal ring is needed. The supplied hose spring keeps the hose from kinking. Below the collar with EPOX lettering sits the water container, holding the downstem with its adjustable diffuser. The diffuser lets you regulate draw resistance and noise.

Pushed together, not screwed
Unlike the Epox 460, whose base is screwed on via a thread, the Epox 580 joins body and base with a push-fit connection and seal. Replacement parts must match exactly this system.

Add waterFill the water container so that the downstem will sit about 2 cm below the surface.

Push on the bodyPush the body with its seal onto the base and check that it sits firmly. Then fit the downstem, rings and coal tray as you like.

Do I need a seal ring for the hose?
No. The silicone hose attaches to the Cut port; an additional silicone seal ring is not required.
How is the height of about 58 cm measured?
The figure applies without the Badcha attachment. With bowl and attachment fitted, the hookah is correspondingly taller.
Do the versions differ technically?
No. The versions differ only in colour; construction and contents are the same.

Von der Höhe her groß, und beim Tragen bleibt sie handlich. Abends auf dem Balkon kommt das Schwarz besonders zur Geltung. So darf es gern weitergehen.

zieht mir zu schwer
durchschnitt, würde ich sagen. ich bin bei aladin e.k. geblieben, weil mich die letzten teile überzeugt haben. auch nach zwei wochen ist mir das saubermachen hier mehr arbeit als bei meiner alten. leichtgängig ist anders, da hatte ich mir mehr erhofft.
