Getting it glowing
Ideally in an electric coal heater or a coal basket on a gas hob. The coal is ready when it glows grey-orange all round.
How long does the coal take to heat through?
In an electric heater about 8 to 10 minutes; turn the cubes in between.
What do 26 and 27 mm mean?
That is the edge length of the cubes. Larger cubes last a little longer.
Can I ignite the coal with firelighter tablets?
