The Aladin MVP460 is a medium-sized stainless steel hookah from the MVP Series by Aladin. It is about 46 cm tall without the bowl and made of V2A stainless steel. The hookah comes with a bowl set, a hose set and charcoal tongs. It is available as M1 in Shiny Black and in Silver-Black.
Size and use
At 46 cm the MVP460 sits between the small and the large models of the series. It is not too big for the table at home and is still easy to take along.
Closed Chamber System and diffuser
A Closed Chamber System sits in the base, with which you blow stale smoke out of the bowl. An adjustable diffuser works on the downstem and dampens the bubbling. The draw is easy, and the valve ball measures 10 mm.
Ground-joint connections and extension
An 18/8 ground joint sits on the bowl adapter and on the hose connection. The parts are simply plugged in and need no seals. A molasses catcher fits on the bowl adapter. One hose connection is installed, and a second hose can be added.
Material and workmanship
The stem is made of stainless V2A steel. That makes it robust and easy to care for. The color is Shiny Black or Silver-Black.
How to set up the MVP460
- Fill in water until the downstem is about 2 cm in the water.
- Mount the stem with the downstem and diffuser on the vase.
- Attach the hose to the hose connection.
- Build the bowl, put on the chimney top and add the charcoal.
- Light it up and adjust the draw via the diffuser if needed.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the stem and downstem with warm water after the session. Wash the clay bowl only when it is cold, otherwise it can crack.
