The Aladin Epox 580 is a large hookah from the Epox range by Aladin. It has a polished stainless steel stem with epoxy resin sleeve and a plug-in system. At about 58 cm without Badcha attachment it is robustly built. It comes as a complete set with ceramic bowl and accessories in White-Silver and in Black.
Construction and seal
The body and base are plugged together. A seal between the two ensures a proper connection and a firm fit of the stem.
Cut hose system
The silicone hose is attached to the Cut port; you do not need an additional silicone sealing ring. A hose spring keeps the hose free of kinks.
Draw and diffuser
An adjustable diffuser sits on the downstem. With it you regulate the draw resistance and the noise.
Blow-off effects
The stainless steel ring set, the epoxy resin sleeve and two coal plates of different sizes result in more than 15 blow-off effects. The two plates also make different setups possible.
Material and finish
The body is made of polished stainless steel, the sleeve of epoxy resin. Stainless steel and epoxy resin make the hookah robust.
How to set up the Epox 580
- Fill water into the water container until the downstem sits about 2 cm deep in the water.
- Push the body with seal onto the base and check the fit.
- Insert the downstem with diffuser and fit the rings and coal plates as desired.
- Attach the silicone hose to the Cut port.
- Pack the ceramic bowl, put on the Badcha attachment and place the coal.
- Heat up calmly.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the body, base and downstem with warm water after the session. Let the ceramic bowl cool down first.
White-Silver means: the epoxy resin sleeve is white, the stem and plate are made of polished silver stainless steel. You can find more colours of the range in the Aladin Epox Series.
