Stainless steel, aluminium or electric?
AO HMD 912, Onmo Stainless Steel Classic and Flat as well as Babuschka HMD are made of stainless steel. The classic Onmo HMD Black or Silver and the INVI Scalar are made of aluminium and absorb heat faster. XKAH devices heat electrically instead of with charcoal.
Comparing designs
With a classic HMD you regulate through the amount and position of the charcoal, and on lid models additionally through the lid. Make sure the diameter and rim of your head fit the seat. Stainless steel stays hot for a long time after the session; let the attachment cool down before cleaning.
